How to Hang Shadow-Box Shelves

Shadow boxes combine the appearance of a photograph frame and the versatility of a shelf . But, like a shelf, many shadow boxes have flush-mounted hanging mounts. Pinpointing the location of every bracket and translating this spot to the wall, while ensuring that the box will all hang flat, needs forethought. Line drill through the tape and up the drill marks into the wall using the bit size indicated by the wall anchor manufacturer. Remove the tape and wipe the pencil marks.

Tap wall rolls. Subsequently drive screws into every anchor, leaving the head protruding just enough that you could slide the hangers on the back of the shadow box within the head of this screw.

Align hang it and the shadow-box plate together with the screws. Hold the shadow box higher than the tip and gradually and gently pull it down the wall, feeling for your hangers. This may take some trial and error.
